Best Doomsday Weapon!

I have had many people ask me as well as I have read many people asking on different forums about "What is the best weapon to have for the end of the world?" I have had people swear to me that knifes or some sort of sharp metal object is the best since it very low maintenance and highly effective. As a back-up weapon I would highly suggest having some sort of sharp buck knife to use for protection as well as for food gathering. I would not use this for a primary weapon since it has a very short range and may take several attempts to incapacitate an assailant. Your best bet would be to get a firearm and plenty of ammunition for it. Now comes the debate to what firearm to get. The "big two" that are always argued are the AR-15 and the AK-47. The AK-47 is known to be extremely rugged and versatile. I have seen demonstrations where the rifle is left in mud for weeks and when they go unbury it they can shoot it as is with no malfunctions. The problem however is that the AK is not very common in the United States as the AR-15. Every single law enforcement agency issues AR-15’s to their officers all the way from local police departments to the F.B.I so the ammunition as well as parts are very common to find. This is the main reason I would choose this firearm for the apocalypse survivors in the United States. For everyone else in different countries I urge you to get a reliable Russian made AK-47. As far as brands for the AR-15, I am a huge supporter of Colt Firearms. The one thing you should look at is to make sure they fire 5.56 NATO rounds as well as .223 rounds and that it has a dust cover over the ejection port. This will allow for more ammunition options and protection in any dusty climates. The rifle is the ultimate powerhouse to have. They are highly effective at long range, can shot as many rounds as there are in the magazine and are the ultimate weapon.

Cyber Attacks

Every day there are new hackers trying to hack into all sorts of different accounts. There are the small time hacks that can look into personal information. But the ones I want to talk about our the ones that have been happening to our government. Whenever I hear of a big hack into our government entities I wonder how is it that other nations are able to hack past our security. A few years ago a handful of teens in Russia were able to hack 3/4 of the way through our pentagons firewall!
To me that is insane to think about how vulnerable our security to our nation might really be at. Check out the image below it shows for just a five month period 460 million computers that could be the next to be attacked. So I want to hear from you all, What do you think about hacking? I know when I use my computer I encrypt everything from my email to the most basic homework on separate partitions of my drive to try to protect myself. What do you all do to protect yourself? Do you think your country does enough to protect itself? With everything being on computers today what is stopping people from causing some serious damage

World War Z

Have you ever wondered what the world would look like if a virus spread and changed the human species? I know everyone is talking about zombies and the craze is out there of how to survive a zombie apocalypse. What would happen would everyone go crazy like many movies and books recall the end of the world would look like after an outbreak. If you want a good read I would suggest "The Zombie Survival Guide" and the follow up book "World War Z". Out of the two I personally like the World War Z as a book much better.

All the craze right now is about World War Z because the movie is coming out June 2013. What do you think of Brad Pitt playing Gerry Lane? Do you think that the movie will hold up to the book? The movie poster looks pretty sick if I do say myself. I am hoping that this movie is awesome.

With all the threats from North Korea about attacking the United States what does everyone think is going to happen? I know this is a really hot topic right now on the news and around the world.
